Don't get me wrong.
I think ChatGPT is great for certain things:
- Idea generation
- Summarizing long articles
- Helping with research
But I still think it has a long way to go before it's replacing actual humans for most creative work.

Avoid the dreaded tab-pocalypse.
This extension helps keep my work sessions streamlined and focused. Simply snooze any tabs that you want to return to later, and Tab Snooze will reopen them when you need.

Honestly, I don't know how I functioned before I had this.
It catches errors, suggests improvements, and has a built-in synonym finder. If you spend any time writing on your computer, this is a must.

The Pomodoro technique changed everything for me. It was the first productivity tool I really started using, and I still think it's one of the best. Breaking up your time into focused chunks is simply a good idea. This extension is great for that.

These next 2 go hand-in-hand. BlockSite is pretty self-explanatory. You make a list of sites/words you want to block—and it does it.
I use this mainly to block any kind of pornography or sexual content, as I've struggled with that in the past.

StayFocusd is great for limiting access to sites that you want to visit, but not spend all day on.
For me, it's YouTube. An amazing resource, but too often I find myself going down rabbit holes and losing huge parts of my day.

A recent study from UCLA showed that participants retained nearly the same amount of information when watching a lecture at 1x, 1.5x, and even 2x speed.
If the 2x speed participants were able to revisit the video again before a test, they even performed better than the 1x speed group.
For me personally, I listen to podcasts, non-fiction books, and informational YouTube videos at 1.5x speed (2x makes me uncomfortable).
When it comes to things where I believe the pace is important to the message, I don't speed it up (movies, music, fiction books).

YES. I like Alex Hormozi's content. SUE ME.
But really, I just feel like this dude packs massive value into all of his stuff.
You can tell someone is intelligent when they can explain complicated things in simple terms, something Alex is amazing at.
Also, speaking of watching content at 1.5x speed—I've already watched this video twice at 1.5x speed.
And now I'm watching it a 3rd time for this summary:
I highly recommend watching the video to get Alex's explanations for each point.
Have a great week my friend.
